GM Induction Heaters are designed to heat bearings and other shrink-fit components prior to mounting using the latest intelligent microcontroller based electronic controls. Induction heating allows the component to expand evenly, enabling safe and easy mounting without damaging the bearing or shaft.
Bearings and other torque transmitting steel components that are shrink-fitted on shafts may experience reduced service life due to rough handling or improper installation methods. By heating the component using induction heating technology, the component expands uniformly and can be mounted safely without applying mechanical force.
GM Induction Heaters are available in multiple models to suit different mounting requirements and are capable of heating bearings with bore sizes starting from 10 mm and above. These heaters provide fast, safe and economical heating solutions for industrial bearing installation applications.
The GM50 Induction Heater is a heavy-duty model equipped with intelligent microcontroller based electronic control and high heating capacity. The machine weighs approximately 500 kg and is capable of heating bearings weighing up to 1000 kg to the desired temperature within a customized heating time.
