GM Induction Heaters are designed to heat bearings and other shrink-fit components prior to mounting using the latest intelligent microcontroller based electronic control system. Controlled induction heating expands the component, allowing easy mounting and preventing damage caused by hammering or improper installation methods.
Bearings and torque transmitting steel components that are shrink-fitted on shafts may get damaged due to rough handling or faulty installation. This problem can be avoided by expanding the components using induction heating before mounting, ensuring safe installation and longer service life.
GM Induction Heaters are available in different models for mounting bearings with bore sizes from 10 mm and above. These heaters provide fast, safe and economical heating of bearings for industrial maintenance operations.
